Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy May Be Coming To Steam
Despite the fact that the Final Fantasy XIII titles were received with mixed feelings from fans, it seems like Square Enix hasn't given up on the trilogy yet. According to Final Fantasy XIII's official Japanese website, Square Enix is bringing Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII to Steam.
As can be seen in the image below, the Steam logo appears alongside the PS3 and Xbox 360 logos. This might mean that an announcement might be coming soon, specially with Tokyo Game Show taking place this weekend in Japan. The PC platform was also listed on the North American website, but it has already been removed.
This isn't the first time a Final Fantasy XIII title is listed for PC, as the PC logo as appeared before on a Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII poster. If this does turn out to be true, this is something that will definately please PC fans, as this opens up the possibility of Final Fantasy XV also coming to PC.
Tetsuya Nomura Is No Longer The Director Of Final Fantasy XV
Tetsuya Nomura has stepped down as the director of Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix has announced. After working on Final Fantasy XV for nearly a decade, Nomura will now focus on other projects.
“Hereafter, [Nomura] will be focusing his efforts on the production of titles that can only be made possible by Nomura, himself, and delivering products that exceed the quality of past titles, starting with another one of his representative projects, Kingdom Hearts III. Square Enix will continue to work on these titles with the best staff formation in an effort to deliver them to everyone as soon as possible and appreciates your continued support,” said Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda.
“We invite every one of our fans to view the fruits of our labor through FINAL FANTASY XV’s demo, and promise to present a game that further surpasses expectations when the finished product is released.
“As the director of FINAL FANTASY XV, Tetsuya Nomura has mainly worked on the original concept for the story and universe in addition to creating the characters. Hereafter, he will be focusing his efforts on the production of titles that can only be made possible by Nomura, himself, and delivering products that exceed the quality of past titles, starting with another one of his representative projects, KINGDOM HEARTS III. Square Enix will continue to work on these titles with the best staff formation in an effort to deliver them to everyone as soon as possible and appreciates your continued support.”
What consequences do you think this will this have on Final Fantasy XV's development?

I was annoyed when the trailer finished with "In Development" but maybe this upcoming demo, that's included with Type-0 HD, is designed for player feedback in case the combat, framerate or friendly AI aren't up to scratch.
