People have been poking and prodding the Final Fantasy XIII PC port since its release, trying to maximize its potential for the platform. GeDoSato by Durante, for example, unlocks the game’s resolution so that it may be run above 720p — through 60 frames-per-second has so far been elusive.
It seems in all of that poking around fans have discovered a hidden and unfinished area called the Seventh Ark that may have intended to be post-launch DLC back in the day. A Nemesis boss was also added, much resembling the Anima fal’Cie you encounter on the Pulse Vestige in the early parts of the game. The arena was later used in Final Fantasy XIII-2 against the proto-fal’Cie Adam.
What are your thoughts on this reveal? Do you think Square Enix will ever finish and release this as a DLC?
Final Fantasy VIII
In news that has no doubt pleased many, Square Enix has finally announced that they will release Final Fantasy VIII on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2019 while also re-releasing it on PC in celebration of the game's 20th anniversary.
It will be titled Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, although the actual remastering appears to be similar to what Final Fantasy IX received in 2016 with the character models in particular receiving work.
It will be available on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Nintendo eShop and Steam worldwide.

Final Fantsy XIII Trilogy
The trilogy of the Final Fantasy 13 games have never looked so crisp, clear, and HD, thanks to a remaster of the three on the Xbox One.
The Final Fantasy 13 remaster trilogy is available through all of the original Xbox 360 discs, as the three games are now backwards compatible with the Xbox One line of systems.
The aforementioned enhancements make a pretty big difference.
